pitch competition
Ruby Runway
Bring your Ruby-powered startup to the main stage.
Ruby Runway is a showcase for early-stage startups building with Ruby. What began as a pitch competition has evolved into something we think fits our community even better: a lightning round showcase where founders take the stage, share their work, and connect with the brilliant, curious people who make up the Ruby ecosystem.

What to Expect
Selected startups will each have a short window on stage to present their product, share their story, and introduce themselves to the RubyConf audience. This is not a competition with winners and losers — it's a spotlight for founders who are doing interesting things with Ruby and deserve to be seen.
After the showcase, participants will have dedicated networking opportunities to connect with attendees, community leaders, and potential collaborators.

Stowzilla

Stowzilla starts where storage usually stops: with the question of what your stuff is worth. Some things are worth selling. Some things are worth keeping. Stowzilla helps customers decide by turning storage into a managed, searchable inventory. We pick up their belongings, photograph, describe, categorize, and store every item securely, then let customers retrieve anything on demand or sell it through the Stowzilla marketplace without digging, listing, packing, shipping, or meeting buyers. Stowzilla is valet storage built on top of a managed inventory and resale marketplace. The platform is built in Ruby 3.4 on AWS serverless infrastructure, powering pickups, inventory, search, billing, resale, and notifications.

Coolhand Labs

Coolhand Labs gives your AI agents the COO team they've been missing. Most AI products let their most valuable asset — actual user signal on what's working and what isn't — go to waste. Coolhand closes that loop: our tooling captures the highest-signal feedback and our AI agents swarm to analyze the right fixes from that data. This all gets shipped as pull requests directly to your codebase. No new software stack. No dashboards to manage. Just better AI, continuously delivered.
