The Millennium Biltmore Los Angeles

Pin icon About The Biltmore

We love our venue. Seriously, we can’t wait for you to come see it. Opened in 1923, The Biltmore still exudes the opulence of the era but somehow its charm outshines the splendor. Even though it’s been updated to accommodate modern needs, you’ll still feel swept back in time as you pass through the lobby doors.

If its century-old grandeur isn't impressive enough, The Biltmore has been the venue for many Academy Awards and the filming location for hundreds of recognizable movies, tv shows, and more. They seem to have a knack for hosting incredible events and we can’t wait to add RubyConf 2018 to the list.

We have now SOLD OUT all of our hotel blocks. You can find a list of nearby hotels that still have availability here.

Getting Here Directions

From Los Angeles International Airport, your best bet is to take a Lyft, Uber, or cab to the hotel. They’ll run you about $35-55 and take anywhere from 30-60 minutes depending on traffic.

Additionally, there is a direct LAX Flyaway Bus that goes from LAX's Terminal 1 to Union Station in downtown LA. The bus costs $9.75 for a one-way trip, takes approximately 35 minutes (more in traffic), and leaves from Terminal 1 every 30 minutes or so, everyday from 4am-midnight. From Union Station, you can take the DASH B bus to the 5th/Grand stop. The hotel is on the SE corner of 5th/Grand.

We don’t recommend renting your own car as parking is limited and therefore quite expensive, plus driving around Los Angeles is not very convenient.

Our conference venue does not have a huge streetside presence. Instead, when you walk down Grand Avenue, you'll see the driveway for the hotel with a small tunneled walkway on the right. Follow that in to get to the hotel's main lobby!

Within a ten-minute walk

Downtown LA is teeming with restaurants, bars, and many big-city attractions. There is so much to discover, but below is a select list of our favorites.
